Minimum system requirements

  • macOS 14 Sonoma or newer
  • Apple Silicon or recent Intel Mac
  • Stable internet connection
  • Microphone permission for live transcription
  • Screen & System Audio Recording permission for meeting audio and screen context
  • A Scriberfy account with Free, Standard, or Pro access

Before a call

Quick checks

  • Use headphones when possible to reduce audio bleed.
  • Open your meeting app before starting a live assist session.
  • Use stealth mode only where it fits your policies and local rules.
  • Keep Scriberfy updated so permissions and capture behavior stay reliable.

Download the Mac app

Install Scriberfy on the Mac you use for calls, interviews, and screen sharing.

Sign in from the desktop app

Open Scriberfy, copy the pairing code, and approve the device from your browser account.

Grant Microphone and Screen & System Audio Recording access in System Settings so live context works correctly.
